Snowmobilers are in for a special treat, as Pine Hill Resort is just a snowball throw away from the Vilas County trail system, offering more than 600 miles of well groomed wilderness trails. The popular trails of Upper Peninsula Michigan are little more than three miles away.

Ice fishermen will find no better opportunities than right here in Presque Isle. Oxbow Lake offers some of the finest ice fishing in the North, and guests with a touch of wanderlust can venture out to one of hundreds of other lakes within the immediate vicinity.

Cross-country skiers can begin their enjoyment of Northwoods trails right outside our cabin doors, while downhill enthusiasts will find the Midwest's longest downhill runs just a short drive away.

Ice skaters love the skating rink that Pine Hill Resort creates every winter on Oxbow Lake. Practice your triple axle, shoot some hockey pucks, or just slide across the ice in whatever leisurely manner suits you best.
